Cellist offering private lessons, practice coachings, technique classes, orchestral excerpt classes, music theory and ear training classes.
I have degrees from The Juilliard School and Northwestern University and am former member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago.
I have extensive experience teaching and performing in solo, chamber, and orchestral settings. I worked as a Teaching Assistant at The Juilliard School, and now maintain a private teaching practice.
I have experience working with young students, high school students and conservatory level musicians of all ages.
As a teacher I focus on developing effective practice strategies, drawing out the students own musical ideas, and finding a simple tension free approach to the instrument.
I offer lessons both in person and on Zoom or Skype.
