Schools can now get a boost to "missing" instruments in their bands by taking advantage of a new scheme from Cambridgeshire Music. This means that selected students can learn an "under represented" instrument (subject to availability) as a group at no charge for 18 weeks, encouraging new learners for violin, viola, cello, double bass, oboe, bassoon, trombone, tuba, French horn and orchestral percussion.
