Are you interested in making and performing music? Does the cost of musical equipment put you off? Or are you bored with the sounds that your existing gear can make? Learn how to release your inner musician and make your own noise!
The Bleep! workshops will gently guide you through the process of building your own instruments using very cheap electronic components. No prior knowledge of electronics is needed, and no special skills are required - anyone can take part.
You will also learn how to perform with your instruments as you build them. We will work together on group improvisations and compositions, and we will also explore how we can use live interactive video to add to the performance experience. At the end of the 12-week course of workshops you can show off your new skills in a public concert at the Norwich Arts Centre, recently named Britain's Best Small Music Venue by the NME!
If that is not enough to get you interested, you also get to take your new instruments home with you - they are yours, forever! For more information, and to book your place on Bleep!, please email bleep@esarn.org or call 01603 283395.
